Introducing the “Entrepreneurial Self-Assessment” series

From the Archives

Since quitting my job three months ago, I’ve stayed busy developing others full-time. From resume help to life coaching to talent management to small business start-ups, my calendar has remained stuffed. Regardless of the client or field, there are two recurring themes among those with whom I’ve worked since early June: the business element and the clients’ related leadership qualities. It is from these interactions and sessions that I will draw some key points to share with anyone embarking on a journey through which soft and technical skills will be tested. Borrowing from Pennsylvania Department of Revenue’s Entrepreneur’s Guide, among other resources and real-life experiences, I will explore with you how you can succeed in your venture. Check back weekly for a new installment. Next week: Entrepreneurial Self-Assessment. Happy reading!
