Are you getting your daily ration of personal and professional development with a little help from your friends? Sometimes all it takes to boost your confidence is a nudge in the right direction from a friend, relative, boss, or mentor. What happens, though, when their “help” isn’t helping?
Don’t get dragged down in discouragement just yet! While it’s true that you must sometimes be broken down to be built up, learn to let critique and constructive criticism be your means for growth. Sure, you could wallow in misery and depression over every disappointment, error, or correction, but any opportunity to learn and grow should be celebrated, not commiserated! Take advantage of these opportunities to grow starting today, right now! Let them help you get to where you know you want to go.
Beginning right now, accept that there is always room for improvement and that willingness to learn and grow is not an admission of failure! Others can hope to motivate you by trying to boost your confidence, and only you can find within you the motivation to succeed at anything. Think of it this way: Once you’ve made up your mind to excel at all you do and to continue learning to do it better, you succeeded a long time ago; now you’re life is just catching up to your ambition! Best wishes for a brighter future, starting………… NOW!
